I was at a party one time and I caught a kid throwing open beers into this huge reef tank. I insta KO'd the kid with a swift punch because I was friends of the homeowners, but all said and done it was a total loss of the tank. Over 10g and months to get it back presentable.

Sorry to hear, id be floored if someone intentionally hurt my fish
 
That's really rough. I'm sorry to hear that happened to your 10g. I can only imagine how I would feel if that happened to my tank.

I loved my Cory's though had 2 raubauti 3 agasazzi and 3 sterbai.. And my kribensis were basically just breeders for snake food, nothing special but still it sucks

Of course before I re stock I'm going to scrub it out and replace boil my filter media, but is there anything else I should do to make it safe? I'm getting a cheap lil USB drive security cam so if it happens again they will be arrested for animal cruelty

Anyone messes with my tanks they're going to have to go to physical therapy for a few years. That's why I never have any parties at my house and thank god my parents don't either. I if were you I'd do a lot worse than get with their best friend but to play it safe I'm not going to post anything that could be seen as a crime :FIREdevil:devil:

Haha that's why I wish it was a guy, only time I've ever laid hands on a girl like that she was my horribly drunken girlfriend sprinting at her best friend with a broken vodka bottle thinking she stole her north face when in fact she was sitting on it... And even then I just grabbed her arms and held her. After we got the bottle away she repeatedly punched me in the face and I just laughed and ate it.. Then in the morning she was all ohhhh I'm so sorry etc and made up for it

I could never do anything like that to a chick unless she was trying to kill me or someone around me haha

Good move! I do plan on turning this into a reef eventually (the 10 ga) id be soooo much more angry if I had and this happened

My sister actually did offer to beat her up as soon as I told her haha she won't be let into my house willfully unless its with a new complete tank setup haha. My sis didn't even know it happened until I told her, and she has anger issues more so then myself so she really will just jaw her next time she sees her. That and she has a boyfriend and tried to get with me while still dating him so I sent him a bunch of texts from her to me

that blows , drunk people (esp. people that aren't "close" friends)& aquariums often end badly...as you say ,it could have been worse,hope it turns out better
 
I'm so sorry for your losses :( Really glad it wasn't your bichirs but still sucks. Hopefully she never does something like that to anyone again. I don't understand why anyone would do that.. :c
