I lost one, other two really aren't eating. Their in the same tank as my 5 RM which are 4-5" but I put a divider in my 125. Their just not eating, they ate the first day, but for some reason they just stopped. PH 7.0 nitrites 0 ppm nitrates 20 ppm, ammonia 0. Water temp 85 GH 180 KH 40

i expiernced the samething..i had a farmy thats about 4'' and my guyana ocells stopped eating..i moved my farmy to his own 75g wide n now my guyana ocells are back on point..i got 3 eating massivore crushed up..just the pellets not mixed with bloodworms..

yeah but these guys are by themselves in the one end of the aquarium seperated from the orinos. I was going to order another 3pack but i may hold off until the beginning of next week. Even threw in 4 real small guppies just to get something in them, NOTHING

have u tried other foods besides guppies? i need to feed my babys around 7pm..i'll take a video/pics of how i feed my babies..i got them in a 60g with breeding pink cichlids n another breeding pair of cichlids..i'm just curious to y yours arent eating

3 days now these guys haven't eaten. Wont take guppies, blood worms, crushed up pellets, frozen mosquito larvae, brine shrimp......NOTHING WTF !!! I don't wanna lose these guys. I try a feeding every 4 hours, with no response.

yeah, its weird. I see no ick, added a small dose of quick cure anyways. PH and everything is fine, salt is in there, temps 85 at night, goes up to about 87 during the day.
I even turned the light out, Nothing !!! I have 5 RM orinos in the same tank a 125, the Guyana's are seperated in it, about 10/15 gallons for themselves. Orinos are eating like crazy, so its something going on with the fish.

I dont think a GH of 180 would do it, depending on the hardness of Johns water. They were acclimated and everything. Going to give it a few more days and see what happens.
I'm not going to add anything else right now, and stress them out even more then they are.

sorry to hear ur having problems bro..best bet to leave them alone for a day or to n let them settle..

What brand of bloodworms are you feeding my old r metas wouldnt eat the sanfransisco bay brand but they freaked out over the brine shrimp direct bloodworms you might want to try a different brand i do notice a smell difference in different brands so maybe thats it.
