To rehash what I said in another thread, everyone needs to remember that this is a hobby and not a science. There are more than one way to do things, and just because one person is right doesn't necessarily mean another person wrong; they just simply have two different ways of accomplishing the same goal. And if the animal is healthy, and thriving** don't be too quick to criticize someone else's husbandry methods.

**I noticed some individuals in another thread do not quite understand the meaning of this word "thrive". It is not synonomous with just simply surviving, or "getting by." It is used to describe improvement, prospering, succeeding, flourishing, etc.

I just want to make it clear to everyone that just because this is a fish site, it does not mean that the active members in this forum are "reptile stupid". This seems to happen every couple of months where some member(s) (new or old) think they're here to "save us all" from our own demise. We have some extremely knowledgeable members on this site, some of which have years of experience that should be respected and listened to. You can read care sheets until you're blue in the face but actual years of hands on experience is where it counts. If you don't agree with that, well then I feel sorry for you. Varanio has made it very clear that he wants the bickering and name calling to stop, and I agree 100% with that. It's getting real old, real fast. You know who you are. And like I said earlier, we're one big happy Monsterfishkeeper family that has to learn to get along with each other and RESPECT each others opinions. I'd really hate to see Alex drop the big hammer!

Correalating with this, those of you that have been running about with your hatchets of insult you have been warned through pm. This isnt a threat, I just want the flow of conversation to remain positive and continue to flow.
