Well one of mine bit me earlier,so I guess it had an attitude over something.
I'm right there with you my friend. my striped Raphael catfish stung me while I was getting it out of a decoration it was stuck in. (don't worry, I removed the decoration) hurt like hell. what fish bit you if you don't mind me asking?

GUYS! I'm so happy to be part of this forum where everyone shares this wonderful hobby we call fishkeeping. I have seldom been able to find someone in the hobby where I live, so I'm just glad I get to share this experience with all of you wonderful people! Thank y'all, and I hope to hear so much more about just about everything fish related. whether big or small, happy or sad, I'm all ears!

My bluegill is doin mighty fine, just got him eating, (55 gallon half filled, fish is 1 inch), My Turtle just breached 4 inches, (55 gallon half filleda), my Betta is thriving and colours are popping, (5 gallon full/ planted) my black Mollie, I'm not sure, but I think he's fine (10 gallon full/ planted) and my bullfrog tadpole FINALLY HAS LEGS. (55 gallon half filled)

glad to hear about the bluegill, hope he grows into a fine wet pet one day. Sounds like your turtle is growing, how old is he? Your beta sounds beautiful, maybe you could post a picture, I would love to see him!

Getting nailed with catfish venom is not a thing that happens to "normal" people but it's kind of a rite of passage.

All sorts of fish and other animals can bite ya that's boring.

My semi-aggressive group, the Crime Box, (all catfish except one RTBS) have been behaving themselves.

I merged all my smaller, peaceful fish (all catfish) into one tank and they're adjusting well - in fact the pictus seem much happier in this tank and I feel bad for not noticing they were unhappy in the other one. But it's all good now, and even my synodontis nigriventris seem slightly less shy in a larger group of fish.
