Great, just does the tank as directed and keep your fingers crossed. 3X is a good alternative keep the salt level up and post with a progress report. Let me know when the MB arrives and will see how the fish is then and the best way to use it and dosage at that point. GL I'll check back on this thread.
 
He survived the night, which I wasn't expecting and he went down a few shades of red. He is making feeble attempts at swimming and has regained some strength.
 
thats a good sign. MB is good stuff for sure, it just got rid of a few months long fungal problem on my pickerel. If he made the night I bet he does alright barring any unforseen problems.
 
That's great news. Keep up with the treatments and water changes. Keep us posted.
 
Does he seem to be breathing normally or is it slower then normal?
 
He was breathing slower than normal and almost stopped breathing altogether. The second I posted the last comment I went to check on him and he was definitely breathing very weakly I put another pump pushing water at his face and he perked right up and started breathing hard again. once in a while I'll see a bubble come out of his gills. Is this normal?
 
IDK why the bubble came out of his gill unless some air from the pump got in there. The fish was in pretty bad shape so weather or not it can pull through this is still up in the air. Add more surface agitation to the tank to increase the O2 in the tank.
 
He survived another night and he has gone down a few more shades of red and is swimming around a little. The MB should get here today.
