I think he’s in too deep. Also on the first picture there’s a lump so it makes me thing there may be from an internal bacterial infection. Stop feeding. More water changes. Add salt. Hope for the bestA guy asked me to help him on FB

Yes I told him to do soI’m no expert, but correct me if I’m wrong, an epsom salt bath will help.kno4te
Don’t do too much salt. If you feel it’s best to put the jag down then use clove oil.Alright finally approved
Did a heavy heavy salt bath tonight. Ther mught be hooe for the terror. But i think the jag needs to be put down soon,! ive tried everything now.

How long has it been going on for? I’m currently in a similar position where it may be best to put the fish down but you feel like if you give it a couple days with attention that it’ll get better. ( my mom poisoned a red devil with algae killer) depending on how long it’s been going on for you should either keep trying or put them down. Try removing the healthy fish so they don’t get infected too and try to find the cause of the bloat so we can have a better idea of how to treat.this is a long shot. But i have recently ran into so really weird problems with my long established 150 gal
It had an oscar, jag, and green terror all over 8 inch’s in it. Ive got a fx6 and ehiemmpro 3e can filters on it
At first my jag started having buoyancy problems. So I hospitalized and started running her through meds. I was going to try the swim bladder surgery, she is still alive but lays at the bottom on her side. Initially i though swim badder. But now she doesnt swim often at all. Once in awhile she will surface and go back to the bottom on her side. Then the green terror started being wierd about a week later. His abdomen visablly engorged. I caught him and put in the hospital tank, and started running meds.
Ive done salt
Melafix
Fritz maracyn
Lavaminsol
Both still moving both refusing to give up.
My 12 inch oscar
True parrot chiclid
Giant apple Snai
Rino pleco
Are all fine show no symtoms.
I am at the point where I don’t know what to do. The Jag has been down like this for two weeks
The terror for a week. Niether are showing any improvments
I have the aquarium drug to put them down. These are some of my prized fish, i was hoping not to ever use it. . They are huge and all complimented each other in the tank. I cant stand watching the Jag lie hopelessly on her side …
Should i give up?
