Guys who own pits and other big dogs, tell me more about this

original purpose wasn't to bash bullies, it was to point out how they are more predisposed than normal pit bulls to joint and weight problems due to an excessive build on a smaller frame.

Now, this is just my OPINION.
I'm sorry.
But this is a pitbull...
I'm not a fan of all these bulked up bullies that couldn't even pull a pound.
All show, no go.

to each his own. Still working on the pictures, should be put up soon!

I myself breed pitbulls from 4 different bloodlines 12 dogs total, and its all in preference, the bulky size of a bully//lowrider pitbull is not hazardous to their health. As for human aggressive pitbulls they also are great dogs they just need the right owner//environment. I mean a piranha would bite an unwanted human. so you cannot judge a dog for having the same temperment but should you have it around people no.....but then again would you let your kids swim with piranhas? the best dog ive ever owned personally was about as aggressive to human males as you can get but kids could ride him using his ears as an organic steering wheel to get nothing more than a wet lick to the face. If you like the size and the temperment is well suited for the environment its going to be in, go for it. But looking to the parents is no kind of indication of the dogs personality and is only good for getting a good idea of what the dog will "look" like. I have seen 6 pups from 1 litter with all different personality traits that have all grown up in the same environment.and that dog is not an abomination the abomination is people with a mislead view on the breed. beautiful pit i say go for it.

this is turning out to be like those stupid flowerhorn/parrot/hybrid debates. you got bigots and purists everywhere. as the saying goes, opinions are like....you get the picture

Everyone hating on bullies need to kick rocks and keep it moving! i've never had any problems with my female. No health issues and never had any problems with her being aggressive toward any humans or other dogs. And don't knock on 'em if you've never owned one... that's all i'm sayin.

No health problems? How exactly do you know? I'm assuming that you've had all of the proper X-rays done then. I would also assume that they're on the OFA database. Unfortunately 90% of breeders are trash that do absolutely no health testing with their breeding stock. It sickens me that BYBs charge $2,000 for a dog just because they want to make money, not because they actually performed the necessary health testing to insure stability of the breed.

the bigger any kind of dog, regardless of its breed- the shorter its lifespan is- no matter how much people try to breed their dogs to the top form

I've seen them all in all sizes/shapes-

I like the presa canario breed out of all-
