I love how he's managing to stay fairly straight instead of hanging/drooping over the plant.

I love watching him swim in the early morning or at night the way he moves is just cool looking but I have seen him fully straightened out before

Update on the eel catfish, I’m not really sure what you call this behavior but he wasn’t glass surfing. In the past I’ve seen him swim straight down into the bubble stream from my aerator at the time and in this video you see him repeatedly swimming in a circular motion (actually he was swimming around a leaf half the time) but I’m wondering if this is maybe him trying to simulate swimming against a current like in their natural habitat.

They’re a federally restricted species so I’m not sure what all you’d have to go through to really legally own one lol
