Beautiful fish. I'd love to get a tank for large new world cichlids.

Although the carpintus can slowly get large, none of the rest are what would be considered more the medium size for cichlids.
The balzani males are at 5" after more than a year, and share a 60 gal tank.
The sajica mature at about the same as above, female diminutive compared to the male, I have the pair alone in a 40 .
And I believe the lentoginosus max out < 10", the one in the pic above is < 4" , and the largest in a group of 7, growing out in a 40 with lots of current.
All tanks are connected together and share a sump, and total volume is approx 300 + gals. (the balzani are on a different sump and line though, they are in an unheated Uruguayan line of tanks).

There were 2 males, and 4 females in the 60 over the last year, although I just moved them to a 100 gal the other day, to facilitate successful spawning.
