Gymnogeophagus meridionalis?

I agree Matt, I see a lot of fish listed as rhabdotus, meridionalis, gymnogenys without collection location, now that the different locations are being discribed scientifically, the fish of the trade are just mutts, keep the collection location with the fish when you sell them folks. It's important! These fish are not all the same species. Ken
 
I agree with everything said. I just wish everyone would stick to the same naming system.
 
:iagree: When I got mine they were just listed as G. Norte but lucky with the help of some of you guys we figured that they were actually Gymnogeophagus n. sp. "Sequeira" (ex meridionalis).
