Nice looking eels. Thought you might like this pic taken in Chinamens Creek last year (saltwater). Two of these eels apparently breeding. I passed this and other pics to Brendan for his research.

Wow they are pretty. so that was a saltwater location where the picture was taken?

Great pic! Not surprised they would be down in the salt breeding. Interesting to see them in chinaman ck. have caught them in a small drain at trinity as well, definitely more widespread than many believe.

yeah Charney, saltwater. In an estuary near Cairns Australia. Masone that was the first time I'd seen one (or two) which was why I took a few pics. Thought they were snakes at first
