Many of us have a problem of letting go of a prized or favorite fish that we have lost. Some get there fish cast in a mold, pickled in a jar, mounted, or etc. I feel that Gyotaku, also known as fish prints are a beautiful way to capture our fish and hang them up on your wall as a prized piece of art.
I lost a 16" ST while I was away on a trip to Korea and was devastated. I felt that I wanted to do something special for my fish and decided to get it printed.
Pics of the Gyotakus!!!
Prints were done by Naoki. Click here for his website! http://gyotaku.com/index.php
Naoki Is very skilled and extremely friendly. He does the prints extremely fast and will work with you to help capture your fish on paper. They provided excellent custom frames. The two datnoid pics show his new black frames with Koa wood inlays and name plates.
The 1st pic is 33"x43"
2nd is 27"x41"
the 3rd is 21"x30"
The dat prints are of my 16" ST that passed away
The aro is not mine but I couldnt resist picking up a duplicate print of it.
Please share if anyone else has fish prints!
