If he and the kkp breed, that would be cool. I would prefer a female Escondido, but I dont have one.. KKP will give me a first step to red texas.. Not really trying but just making it a possibility.

I will keep him if he dont try to kill anything.. He is one my best looking fish right now to my eyes.. I dont have a lot of fishes.. Just this one, my red texas, and a 5" female red devil. The rest are all babies..
 
Nice escondido! They are the nicest looking of the "texas" IMO. How big is he?

You must be thinking of getting another Escondido. This thread bring back memories? It was a very nice Escondido. I've had to let some beautiful fish go cheap, free, or to a LFS too. Sometimes I have stock that I just can't move quick enough or people just aren't buying at the time. In my area there aren't many stores that keep the CA/SA species that I keep. So I try my best to avoid bringing anything to them. I hate to think of them going to the wrong home. I feel good selling to knowledgeable MFK members or other hobbyists. It just doesn't always work out that way.
