Because its been a bit too cold to add fish, my pond has had a nice daphnia bloom that I've been able to harvest from, daily. So the nics are really putting on size, almost an inch at @ a month.
The first spawn appears to be doing well. I flood the tank with artemia, daphnia, and mosquito larvae about 3 times per day, and have just started mixing in small amounts of crushed pellet to start the weaning process.
There are maybe 30-35 in the tank, I'll BAP 10 or so at the next local club meeting.
By that time I should be able to notice some that need to be culled.
Little update, the first spawn progressing nicely, BAPed about 8 (of about 20) at my local club meeting the other day
and found a 3rd spawn yesterday in a same PVC cap as the last one
