Gorgeous!!! One of THE best looking SA cichlids next to Crenicichla! Absolutely gorgeous!!!

Keep an eye on those water params, those sensory pits can turn into HITH quicker than would be expected.

yeah peter, she's glad the dat is out of her hair. now the goes up against the sevs but they guard their fry very well now

thanks peanut water always stays clean and well filtered. i always get worried about her when i miss a WC thinking those pits will open up

Thanks for sharing. I was just looking for some photos of these guys. Yours looks great thats so funny how many sensory pits they have no wonder they are known to get HITH. I love her color. I can't want for mine to get here. What size tank is that? How do you know its a female is there a way to sex them? Or did you have a bunch and you went by what fish was larger to get an idea of the sex?
