I wouldn't quite call it a win, but she did alright. If I had been 10 min later I imagine I would have came home to a fat pike and a pissed of male convict.
Awesome, give her a few more weeks and she might be able to get that female down a little further!! haha...never underestimate their maw!! 
Yup, no more little convicts with the pike. I would get a bigger female con, but I'm afraid they would tag team the pike. Now I need to find something else to go in there with her.
Put in a severum...a female if you can find one. They should breed with the convicts and the pike will eat all the fry...so you wouldn't have to cull them! 
Everybody is doing fine and are swimming in tanks of their own now. The male convict has since evicted the female since her fling with the pike. So, I might go and get another bigger female con to go in with the pike. But all in all, I think I got a few pretty interesting pictures out of the deal, and no losses. So, I'm happy.
