Had my first deep fried BACON wrapped twinkie!

I have had deep fried Twinkie... But not wrapped in bacon. BTW I just realized my iPhone automatically capitalizes the word Twinkie.

Why?

I enjoyed the choc and maple dipped Twinkie much more then the deep fried Twinkie

Was it just my experience or do deep fried Twinkies get cloyingly sweet? Taste way sweeter than a normal Twinkie.

I thought it was the powdered sugar or chocolate syrup that might've made it sweet. You have the same on yours?
