GT's dont always grow so slow.
give them a good varied diet
lots and frequent water changes
minimal stress from other tankmates
and they will grow fast, but generally when you have a group of three cichlids there will be a definate chain.
IME flowerhorn are no tankmate for anything like a GT or a JD.
you would have found sooner or later that the flowerhorn wants the tank all to himself, and tbh, those other two arnt the most defencive cichlids ever.
all swim and no bite i say compared to the flowerhorn.
