last I heard (from my LFS) they are still making them but having a hard time selling them. that COULD mean discontiuing them in the future but who knows.
personally, I think the lack of a standard on/off switch is a HUGE deterent for the average LFS customer.
people want a switch. they don't want to have to mess around with getting a timer, or unplugging it every time they want to turn it off etc
Hagen could have made this great product perfect.
but they rushed it and dropped the ball. now its biting them in the ass.
I had heard way back when they first came out that they were going to put a standard switch in, but they wanted to launch the product in time for something (can't remember what? probably christmas or something) so they put it out anyway...
