Ok Im at petsmart and looking at gangvalves and my son comes over and says "Dad !! They have puffers here!". So I go over and look at the figure 8 puffers. Well what do you know, figure 8 puffer are community fish
I asked the lady there why they have puffers as community, and she says, " I know management already knows, we told them that it was mislabeled and the manager said that corporate clearly instructed us to keep them tagged as peaceful/ community fish". I was floored damnit. What happens when little Suzy or Johnnie goes into there to buy a friend for their guppy or molly? FATALTY, thats what happens, and mom has to explain how violent murders can take place in the aquarium. Geeze, someone spit on corporate petsmart, please.

The Milledgeville Walmart sells figure 8 puffers too....out of a full freshwater tank. Then they wonder why they get them in the tank tuesday and have 3 left wednesday.

Very lame tatics, but I really love printing out there online prices and saving a bunch of money.
The managers always seem to hate to do it and aren't very courteous about doing it, but I don't care. The ac110 is 79 bucks in store and 39 online.... lol

Are you sure they were Figure-8 Puffers?

I know PetSmart pretty well, and they have only carried Dwarf Puffers for the longest time.. I know they started carrying new 'Opportunity buy' fish, but I doubt they would carry puffers.. Granted, alot of the info cards on the tanks are incorrect and misleading, but I don't think they would carry a F8, as it's well-known they are overly nippy and brackish. The whole salt thing is ridicolous though, alot of them are incorrect..
