Was likely brought on by a number of things including the obvious disk damage from her male companion. He damaged the end of her tail so bad the tip actually came off. She had bone sticking out. This is about the time she quit eating. After a week she was put into isolation where we've been watching her ignore everything we've tried for 4+ weeks now. Live blackworms, chopped crawlers, shrimp, scallops, fish, ghost shrimp, feeder fish, and even as a last resort wild caught baby crayfish.
Sbuse- Thanks. I love my Morays. Soooooo trouble free and easy to care for compared to rays. IF I would have sold them off I would have given up on rays a long time ago. Whenever I feel like a failure with the rays I just go feed the eels and they cheer me up. It's just too bad the crazy ones aren't available without pawning organs......
