Getting my new 75 gallon delivered today. Looking to get one big bruiser to have a wet pet in it.

Just can't decide what to get. I really love the fins on the Hait. They are spectacular, and I like the peppered white look. Really love the colors and personality of the Midas. And the trimac is just gangster with the tear drop and blood colored neck hahaha.

What should I get? Anything else in the same size range/temperment range that I should look at as well?

If any of them get too big for this tank, I've got a bigger tank, and I can move it. So please no discussion about a 75 gallon being too small.

a breeeding pair of jags are more aggresive than piranhas lol

id say you cant go wrong with any of them. why not get of each and keep your favorite

Because I can't ge these local, and I'll have to order them in a pretty small size. So I'll end up ordering 6 of whatever I go with, and growing them out until I can pick the nicest male of the bunch. Then I'll sell the rest off.

For a 75 I'd probably go Midas. Haits can have problems with bloat and pairs appeal to me more with that species anyway. Trimacs are great but for pure wet pet I just really enjoy seeing a nice Midas.

a largER species of bichir. cichlids are pooping machines and i personnally hate tem and piranhas are surprisingly unactive.
