So i was resaerching these two, I gota alota info on the cuban but not so much on the haitian. I love the way both look and may consider getting one. Soooo I was wonderin if anyone has some useful info. Jus the basics, size, temperment, character, etc. Ill also be keeping it alone in a 60

Im not a pro on either but i own both. they are both pretty aggressive. I think cubans get up to 14" and haits upto 16". Cubans are fairly easy to raise whereas with the haits i have dealt with bloat, alot. but once the haits are 4"+ it seems that they arent as prone to bloat. It is a huge controversy on what causes bloat ie; stress, diet, water conditions. but either way owning Haits takes patients and expirience. there are alot of people here on MFK that have great advice on Haits from expirience. Good luck.

oh okay, well if the cubans are easier then i may jus go with a cuban. I like the way both look equally, and i want it to be a pretty aggressive fish ahaha = ), and it seems like it is... how big is ur cuban?? and what all do u feed it?

I have raised and had both breed in my tanks. Although the Cubans are smaller they are no less aggressive. If you were to grow young together with other fish or alone, probably work. Trying to drop one into a community may be difficult. They are both prone to bloat when small, and require a bit warmer temps than other mainland sp.
Here is my pair of haits

I wouldn't put the Cubans in anything smaller than a 75 and the haits a much larger tank, lots of water changes and overfiltration.
