No this is not normal. That male is fully mature 5 year old 16 inch. Female still a very young fish. Its just me experimenting. I've tried it with Umbee and jags with good results. No fighting or aggression.
Don't try this at home lol. I wouldn't want to be responsible for peoples loss of fish.
