I posted a vid of this guy a month ago trying to work out what sex he/she is. Over the past 3 weeks I've noticed some significant changes especially to his profile and mostly the forehead area. He is also continuing development in his finnage. The changes may not be as obvious in the vids as they are to me, but I watch this guy a ton and over the past few weeks there have def been changes goin on. I'm nearly convinced he's male but just like sharing plus he's now in his new 90 gal. Enjoy. Any thoughts, observations, and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

From what i can tell i want to say male also. Nice looking fish either way looks very healthy and happy in his 90 gallon.

For comparison purposes if it helps at all...here is a pic of one of the proven females (eggs) from the batch of 4 I raised. A friend of mine has her now so this pic was also taken yesterday.

Thanks Duanes and nice haits and pics!

If males and females can look so alike whats an eventual sure way of telling if i never plan on breeding and besides venting?

Here are my pair for reference.... to bad you dont have a few in there, at 3" the females are usually changed over to the half black phase and then all black. Buddy of mine was a tank full and you can see which is male and female.
