alright i beat it on heroic, personally the game barely entertained me and almost put me to sleep, imo it was suffering to play through it, not a good story and even with all the new things they added, it was the same basic game as the other 2, nothing ground breaking but cortana was sorta hot so that was a plus. just my opinion, not bashing you guys

This because you don't know the whole story of the game. I am talking about what happened 5,000 years back (in the game ). If you know the entire story of the covenant and human race and all the different alien species then you will take appreciation for whats in the game. It's basically you are a die hard fan or you just don't care for it. As for me I am a die hard fan.

Yes, I to love the story that is Halo. I have the book series, minus the latest. And as the campaign IS short it is still sweet. Plus the multiplayer aspect of the game is really fun.

I've never been a fan of playing as an elite. The noise they make is annoying and they are far too easy to snipe.

Anyone else frustrated with the fact that Bungie.net is being really slow at posting stats? I am missing almost 75% of my games I played this weekend. I understand that their servers are overloaded but its frustrating you know? I ranked up to Captain and it still shows me as Lieutenant Class 2

i finally beat it on heroic yey, and i'm a die hard halo fan, all the games, book, figures posters and all the other bits.

Most overhyped game of the year IMO.
I found the campaign to be super boring and multiplayer was alright. I only bought this game because of hype and was let down bigtime.
Im hanging out for COD4 I played the beta and it was one of the most fun I have had in an online game ever....

I admit it is probably the most hyped up game, but it also the most anticipated game. The media just wanted to make money of the demand for it.

I was ready for Halo 3, November 12 2004 the day after Halo 2 was released.

Also, I think I have stated this before, but COD4 sounds cool, but to me, someone who has played the COD series since the PC am VERY disappointed by the modern war combat that COD 4 is. I really love the old school World War 2 games that the COD series has to offer. Plus if I wanted to play a Modern War game I would play Battlefield 2 or Ghost Reacon.
