HALO or COD

Well with halo reach just around the corner I am getting pretty excited
but all my friends love to talk smack about halo and brag about COD, I like the COD series but its gets so boring very quickly but Halo doesnt for me

so this is going to be a thread all about the games pros and cons
and likely a little smack talk

btw forge world looks AMAZING!

+1 for halo. cod does get boring, but after you beat halo you can just keep playing it and unlock all sorts of different things. as for halo reach cant wait. my dad is getting halo reach and an x box 360 elite for x mas since he wont buy it himself. i just wish i could transfer custom characters for multyplayer from x box to xbox. then i could use my awesome cutsom spartan from my friends odst on our halo reach. the forge does look simply amazing, a whole map just for forge!!!

Wait, transfer characters as in from halo 3/odst? Reach has an entirely different armor selection. Didn't you play the beta? I also prefer halo. I'm Warped Ifinity on xbox live, just send me a friend request saying your from mfk if you want to play some halo 3 and reach when it comes out

CoD. Never really liked Halo for some reason. I guess it's b/c I like the more realistic games like CoD and Ghost Recon. Could just be that I don't play Halo enough so I suck at it, lol...

just a quick Q
if I have ODST and am playing matchmaking will I be able to join a friends party who is playing Halo 3
or are the servers different
I thought that the ODST multiplayer was just Halo 3 multiplayer with more maps and better graphics
is that true?

yes from what i have heard. ya we too are getting the special reach xbox elite. as to the character i have the mask you can only get for beating it on legendary so i dont think reach will have that one, they will probably have a different one.

Cod over Halo any day.

I can see the attraction to x-box (good graphics/games), but just cannot get into console games when they're so limited with the game controllers. I prefer a game of Battlefield 2 on PC, and I cannot stand Halo. I won't talk smack on it tho. I just much more prefer PC because there's tons more keys/options and I find the mouse much more precise than a little joystick controlled by one finger.
