HALO thread !

IMO halo 1 was a good campaign, halo 2 good online play and halo is OK but i dont find it fun any more:( iam good at it too, i now prefer playing COD 4 which is fun and better game to play.

i have been disapointed with halo3, bungie just got lazy and all the LIVE hick-ups wreck it too.

i think it would be good for everyone to add their levels,heres mine:
slayer-45
objective-38
lone wolves-44
double-41
and the others are under 30, havent played halo so about a week now:(hopefully bungie get some better game types for matchmaking.
 
Halo 1 is the best so far the thing i dislike most about the halo games is that they keep changing the potency of the weapons.H1 had a scope for the pistol and the shot gun had normal range and real knock down power at point blank range u cut blast a grunt down the hall.Then h2 had lock on fire and forget rockets and but bungie took that away in h3 then no scope for the pistol in h2 and all the energy weapons range and potency of those has been changed for worse and better depending on which game or weapon is at hand.I get used to the way a weapon works and when they screw with it's like relearning it all over agin it pisses me off but all the halo's rock it's my favorite video game ever.

I think you have a valid point, but if you look at it they made it so that you can't rely so much on the weapons. I know a lot of my friends that dominated with the scoped pistol so they made it a little more realistic and removed the scope. Then the made the plasma pistol less powerful so the n00b combo couldn't be used in H3 like it was used in H2. I am guilty with dominated with that combo. Also they made the rocket less powerful so it is a little more trickier to use.

Even though the campaign in H3 was really short, I think that the multiplayer is very fun and the fact that they are talking about continuously releasing new maps is really exciting to hear. I don't play a lot of the objective matches, I am more of a slayer kinda guy.

If you don't like Halo then don't post. This thread is discussing Halo not COD4 lol. Even though Halo is still better and all way will be! Plus if COD4 is so much better than why is it's sales still WAY below H3 uhhhh explain that! Yes alot of people on my friends list play COD4 now but they come back to Halo instantly.

Loved all 3.balancing the weapons in each game keeps it fresh.
Wish the campaign was longer in 3 heck in all of them lol
 
For some reason everyone agrees CAMPAIGN RULES!! You have to admit it is much more fun than Live and now you get both worlds in one with H3 playing Campaign on Live. while I agree it is too short on Normal but try Legendary it may lengthen the game just a tad lol. I beat H3 on heroic bemyself which was alright not too hard and I am pretty sure I can beat it on Legendary close to the time in which I beat it on Heroic which was about 5 hours. I beat Halo 1 on legendary in about a week lol The game was insanely hard on legendary and H2 on legendary in about 7 hours.
