Anyone going today? I'm just getting up and ready to drive over there... hoping to get there before noon. Anyone want to meet up, just drop me a line on FB (http://www.facebook.com/sevvy13)! Otherwise, see you online later tonight with all my photo uploads, lol!

Definitely a good time, better than the last one I went to. Came home with a few new things, but mostly enjoyed the sightseeing. They had some beautiful Gaboons and Eye Lash Vipers, the hugest Pine Snake I've ever seen and a bunch of really beautiful Tegus (Reds, Golds, hybrids, etc). Oh, and they had Button Quails, Bengals (F4s or lower), Chinchillas and Hedgies. Spent a good amount of time with a few of the vendors this time, so it was a lot of fun learning some new things.

Will post up pictures soon. ^_^

They're lucky that the PA Game Commission didn't bust that vendor since hedgehogs are highly illegal in PA for some pretty stupid reasons (long story).

Otherwise, I'm curious to see what you picked up!

Stupid f4 bengals. Not worth the money imo.

I needed some stuff but forgot about the show. Need hemostats and a hook...

Been wanting a button quail too

I don't know if they're lucky or they just know that nothing happens at that show. There's usually something going on there, either on a state or federal level, never on a great or horrible scale but there's always at least one vendor doing or selling something they shouldn't be. Though, the highlight this time was that a high dollar snake was stolen from one of the vendors... which really sucks, it was one they were using for a breeding project. The bright side was that it's such a rare snake (supposedly), so if it turns up for sale or something everyone will know who it belongs to. But that show is really lax, when I go to White Plains, Philly or LI they have cops at those shows and sporadically I've seen department officials.

But anyway, I picked up these two cuties:

I also got a few new cages, stocked up on supplies and set up some trades for the next show. But definitely love my little monitors, and the vendor wants me to power feed them so they start turning into monsters by year's end... He had his own monitors with them, my god, they are something stunning at 4 and 5 ft. But uh, I don't feel the need to rush the process, haha.

I think it's a trade of with them. All the Bengals I've encountered are the most gorgeous looking in the F1-3 generations, but also the most nasty. But the F4 or later generations are more docile and friendly, but you lose the beautiful look to them. Either way, I think they're overpriced... these definitely were (they were asking $400 - 600 depending on the kitten). Really sweet kittens though.

The Button Quail were really cool, only $10. Truthfully, I was taken aback by that... when I worked at Petsmart, we could order them in but the price on them was $120 so we never did. It was a hell of a retail mark up, I guess. This was the first time I've ever seen them... are they good pets?

Philly?....I don't recall any shows coming through here..I wanted to go as I have not been to a Hamburg show in a few years.I knew this one was coming up but I forgot all about it.

f4 is the only bengals we can own. Savannahs too. That price is about right too.

$10 bucks is about right for them. From my understanding they r for a bird. Lol
