About how long does it take Hammerhead coral to completely open up after its acclimated. Few days? I bought it on saturday and during the day it seems like it wants to open up completely and at night it closes up. I thought they were supposed to open up really big at night?

It looks really healthy when its open and has good coloration. I was just curious. I havent kept one of these before.
As long as it's not shriveling up and withering away then it should be acclimating.
Some corals takes one night and others takes like up to 3-4 days. I had a few mushroom corals that took up one night to 4 days to start expanding.
I had a hammer coral, they grow heads fast if kept in good water conditions.

Okay. Ill keep an eye on it. What placement should I give it? Middle to top? I have a 234w fixture
