My brother-in-law drew this for me for christmas what do you think. Hes think about going into a tee-shirt design company do you think he would make it
When i find out how to turn off flash ill take beter pics it has a ton of detail

Hey guys I think your holding ALL art to one standard, saying it has to be realistic.

Ever heard of a art genera called "Folk Art"

I'm an artist, and while this is not my style it is styled in a folk way. That being said Folk art is not as refined as impresionistic, romantic or gothic styles, etc.. Folk art is simple, childlike, lacking realistic details and kinda making up things as you go along. There are MANY MANY styles of art all are just as important as each other. So don't PooPoo it just because it's not as polished as your specific tastes like.

Personally, I like the drawing. I would tell him to hone his skills with computer imagery applications and he'd be well on his way. A few of my friends are graphic artists and they do tattoo sketches on the side. (That's something for him/her to think about as well)
