my oscar i used to have would always only come to one corner of the tank to be fed as this is where is usually fed him as he was slow and there was hardly any flow in that corner. i had to wait until he looked up every time and then i had to drop the pellet right in front of him. if i put two and they separated he would only take one and want more as he only fed in the corner. is this similar to u
OMG my GT is the same way. I have to literally drop the pellets right in front of him. If i drop it too far back the the dumb Giant Danio's try to eat the pellets.
he's most definatly not blind. i toss in ghost shrimp, and he'll down 50 in about 2 days. its the only thing he will actually chase.
atleast im not the only one who's fish has trained their owner
but it can be a bit annoying when i have little spare time in a day. have to stop atleast once, if not twice for 5 minutes to feed Mr.Spoiled over here. would be so nice to toss in a handful like i can with my other tanks.
I have a dovii breeding pair that only hit massivore delight one at a time while they are sinking to the bottom. Once the pellets hit the bottom they wont touch them. Its actually starting to piss me off, I have had them for about a couple months and am growing tired of their eating habits.
tried that while getting him off tetra sticks. he still would only eat 1, and end up spitting it out alot of the time, for a good 2 weeks until i started figuring out his little habits.
