just out of curiosity who here hand feeds their fish? i mean we cant pet or walk our fish so i guess the best we can do is hand feed them. i hand feed my aro earthworms, i just dangle it n the aro either jump n get it or it will just gently grab it. i also hand feed my discus that has near vision problem, either i dangle earthworms or chop the worm into little pieces n stab the pieces with a skrew n put it into the water n the discus will just peck it

If by trust, you mean it trains them to attack your hand when you enter the cage, then yes. I stopped hand feeding my monitors/tegus once they were beyond the small and cute stage...

I hand feed my aro but hes becoming more aggressive and actively pursuing my fingers so im thinking of stopping the hand feeding regiment.
