now all my fish in the big pond are hand fed. the 26" albino channel will eat 2 whole fillets himself. haha my tsn will but not all the time for some reason, somedays i just gotta drop it in front of him. Now with the gar eating there will be alot less mess in the pond...Now I just gotta get my 15" pleco to come out and eat. haha
ha ya it is. And my rtc is getting bigger and bigger in his grow out tank. bought him 1 month ago at 2" and now hes right at 5"! and eats massivore, shrimp and talipia. Feeding them massivore everyother day is getting expensive sense they can go through a 2lb bag pretty fast. lol

Jeeeeesh 2in to 5in in a month...i thought oscars grew fast, well i guess i was wrong lol!! Have you ever thought of breeding them and selling the fry back to the lfs or on here to help pay for the cost? Thats what i'm starting to do and i find it even more enjoyable!
no I havnt actually..might be a good idea. I thought about breading feeder fish for the gar but now I dont have to! at the rate of growth from the rtc ill be able to move him to the pond in a few months so ill have a extra 100gal available...ill have to get some ideas started!
