Actually I dont think I have ever met a crack head in my life, but anyone with a basic knowledge of personal defense will know not to use birdshot. Dont you remember VP Cheney shooting that feller in the face with birdshot? Just bruised him up a bit.

Wolf, I agree with you about large caliber vs smaller more controllable. I have been thinking of picking up a titanium (read light weight) wheel gun to carry in my pocket. The guy at the gun store said to go with .357mag but I thought that a quick follow up shoot would be damn near impossible to do with any accuracy. I think Im going to go with 9MM if I can just stop spending money on fish!
Id rather carry a full size semi-auto anyday though if it was practical. 15rounds, even if you are the best shot in the world, is still better then six!
