Hand through tank fail!

Have a hard time believing you put your hand through 3/8" plate glass while cleaning it. Why no pics of this tank?

After getting home from the hospital, did you try to contact the seller? I would have at least tried, and then show them your hand, explain to the person why the tank broke. Maybe they didn't even realize the mistake/problem that the thin glass could cause? Maybe - just maybe they would have apologized to you and given all or 1/2 your $$$ back to you? I realize you're in a lot of pain at that time. But you could've given them the benefit of the doubt, - that the person who 'fixed' and resealed the tank knew nothing :screwy: about what they were doing and it could've been an innocent mistake, on their part? ***And by the way, if you bled on that glass...............and you spread it on their lawn or drive way...............police would most likely find you sooner or later, don't you think so? Just saying.............if you take revenge, wash your blood off the glass, ok!:naughty:

I'm curious as to why when you looked at the tank, saw it was odd (you admitted this, and said you "just figured..."), you didn't ask more questions, or start running your hand along the bottom, pushing a little bit.. Or simply walk away from it, since it didn't look right to begin with.

You knew it looked "off", and bought it anyway. Unfortunately, I think at least 50% of the blame lies with you. The sellers were honest in stating it was "repaired". That right there would tell me to run.
