handfeeding the silvers in the pond

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I originally thought that would be a good idea to help retrain their eye muscles back into shape- but a couple of things stopped me, the first was the fact that the really bad DE cases couldnt even see floating pellets, so to make it that much more difficult on them wouldve led to missed meals and in turn rising aggression- the next reason was they might get too comfortable with jumping- the walls above the water line are no higher than 10", thats nothing for a 2' or 3' aro to clear- with the amount of bugs over the pond, they would be tempted to take a leap of faith, and might not land back in the pond

the big one looks to have improved 60%-70% since hes been back in the pond so far- the little one is at 100% or close to it- heres the link where they started before the pondhttp://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=349663
Ill pull them out tomorrow and put some updated shots up in the next day or two so we can see the differences

Nice, so the big one had DE in both eyes whereas the smaller was just one eye? Looking forward to updated pics.
