After alot of search for looking for handi-foam (to make my background for my frog tank) i'm coming up empty unless i want to buy online. I understand this is the best to use. But is there any other's i can use for the same result? please let me know. it's driving me crazy

If you use Great Stuff, get the Gaps and Cracks formula; Kitchen and Door formula dries flexible and can fall apart. Waterfall foam (from pond supply stores) also works, and is black instead of yellow.

I use Great Stuff Spray Foam for my backgrounds. You can get it at most hardware stores.

^this

It's cheap, and works great.

There is also some brand out there I saw at Home Depot that is an "Organic" spray foam made from soy but I forget the name. I would avoid this stuff because I think mold would grow on it and it would most likely decompose after a while.

yea that stuff have the bio stuff in it. i picked it up and didn't see that. good thing i checked before i used it one last time

Another one here for Great stuff. Works good and is fairly cheap. Used it underwater for my newt setup. Looks good (coated in silicone/coco fiber), stands up, and safe. Gets my vote.
