A snake will not bite you, because you're wearing rubber gloves and "it can't smell you". lol
It's part of owning snakes...get used to it. The only way to adequately "tame" a snake is with repetition. Feeding out of a viv just increases the risk of the snake learning that every time it's taken out of it's enclosure, it's feeding time. There's absolutely nothing wrong with feeding in the enclosure.
Hook training, especially with what will become a large snake, is an absolute must. It's never too early to start hook training and it must be used with the same repetition, every single day.
Some snakes will never tame down...that's just something you're going to have to understand and prepare yourself for.
And, just because they're "tame" doesn't mean they won't bite.
