Handling An Aggressive Snake

A snake will not bite you, because you're wearing rubber gloves and "it can't smell you". lol

It's part of owning snakes...get used to it. The only way to adequately "tame" a snake is with repetition. Feeding out of a viv just increases the risk of the snake learning that every time it's taken out of it's enclosure, it's feeding time. There's absolutely nothing wrong with feeding in the enclosure.

Hook training, especially with what will become a large snake, is an absolute must. It's never too early to start hook training and it must be used with the same repetition, every single day.

Some snakes will never tame down...that's just something you're going to have to understand and prepare yourself for.

And, just because they're "tame" doesn't mean they won't bite.

That suppossed to be cheeky or am I just reading it wrong? I do have snake hooks and I do use them on all my snakes. I know some snakes never calm down, I never said they all do. Dont treat me like I know jack

Not at all...was not directing my reply towards you or trying to single you out, nor was I trying to be rude or "cheeky".

Wasn't responding to one individuals post...just throwing in my two cents.
