Thanks for all the info. I've purchased a sump pump battery backup that should keep my 110 watt pump going for almost four hours. I can purchase an additional battery pack that plugs into the backup unit and would extend the pump run-time to about 8 hours. I will use the old computer backup battery for my aerators. It only kept my pump running about 15 minutes or so. I might also buy a couple of those Penn Plax B11 battery operated aerators for really long outages.

Sounds good. Make sure to cycle those batteries every now and then. The battery life decreases significantly if you don't fully charge and drain the battery on a regular basis.
