where my cichla are
ok guys, i'm getting a 210 gallon tank.. the stand it's going on is actually for an 8 ft tank but the 240 got damaged so i'm making due.

anyway, i need help getting it from the floor to the stand. i'm willing to feed you, offer you fish in trade, or possibly even pay cash for 4 or 5 healthy strong guys (or strong ladies) to help me get this thing on the stand.

i will be picking it up Saturday (today), and i'll have the stand ready by Sunday afternoon (trying desperately not to intrude on anyone's Memorial Day plans).

Sorry but your not telling where your located at.....you will probably get more takers if you include your area.

I'd help, but I'm on the other coast. Best of luck. On a different note, all you need is one helper. I lifted my 220 gal All-Glass tank onto its stand with the help of just one friend - and no, his name is not Arnold.

Yeah, if you only get 2 guys I think you would be okay, just make sure they're strong. 2 guys lifted and moved our 250gal glass. it wasn't easy though. good luck
 
i asked for more than one or two guys because when we moved the 240 out of my truck and into my garage it took 4 of the strongest guys i knew to move it into the garage (about 8 ft) from the back of my truck. and they couldn't have lifted it from the floor to this stand. i have to believe that this 210 isn't going to be very much lighter.
