ok guys, the tank is here. we decided not to take it out of the truck for now. we have furniture movers and cool little dolly that turns into a cart, it should be fairly easy to manuver it into the house.

its about technique, not strength.

unload it off the truck, and put it on a dolly. Then Roll it to the stand.

Then pick one end up and place it on the stand, Make sure it wont slide off.

Then pick the bottom end up, and make sure you have someone to guide the tank in place . on top of the stand

wrong boys- its strength- you guys make like it magically unloads itself off the truck, and gently floats onto a dolly- but not any dolly- a dolly that fits the whole underside of a monster tank- which is not a problem, because everyone has a 7'x2' dolley under the kitchen sink- and then before you move the magic dolley, you rub that magic lamp again, and use another of your wishes to pull all the roots out of the ground that your magic dolley cant get over, and while the genie is at it, have him bring the seams of the sidewalk back together, since some seams are inches apart while others might be 2" higher/lower than the one next to it- hell, you might as well use another wish and have the genie repave the whole side walk and make sure he does it seamless( genies usually try and cut corners and add seams to their magic sidewalks) so now that youve made it to the door, simply levitate it by yourself over the door jam
so it doesnt fall off the magic dolley-
should I even get into your secret "technique" of lifting one side of the tank up and "placing" it onto the stand- oh, and make sure not to let it slide off while walking to the other side- but when doing this trick solo- do not use strength , only technique-
and now, for reasons unknown- we need someone to aid guiding it the rest of the way onto the stand- fortunatly the genie is a kickass tank guide-
dont be ridiculous guys, Im fairly certain that neither of you could have done this using your magic "technique" on even a 100g tank

i personally like Allister's "technique" a LOT.

i can't thank you guys enough.. and there are still 6 perfectly grilled rib eyes waiting for you..

it's not rocket scientist my boy wonder..! just make sure you have a supervisor there...y i like acryllic, i heard ppl can move a tank that size themselves, given it's acryllic. shoot, i had my 135 tank/stand/canopy/fish/water all in a matter of day. a day! but i'm pretty strong...bump.

when i got my 240 gallon glass tank it took me and 3 other people to move it. i can imagine if it was 2 people it would be very heavy. we had no problem moving it, just take your time. do you still need help moving it?

nope.. thanks for asking. 2 of the 4 people that said they were going to be here showed up and they amazed me.. just the two of them, with a little help from my son carried it all the way from my truck, around the backside of the house and put it right up on the stand like it was nothing.

i just stood in the kitchen and did a :jaw: when i saw them carrying it and just lightly setting it up on the stand.

Good job, Mr. Crowley, and thank you! :)
