Interesting thread...for me recently, it's just about adapting I guess. My gf likes the 90g, but I want to go smaller; as I like the micro details and scaping now as opposed to fishkeeping primarily. She also says I can have as many tanks as I want, but does get frustrated about the amount of money I spend/waste :P

I actually like that aspect though, as I usually grumble; then change my mind on what I want to buy super fast lol. Another thing is getting lids for my tanks now, as she has cats. No way I'd not let her have cats, if she puts up with my hobby; I'll put up with hers :D

My mom is fine as long as water stays off the carpet. What she really hates is my snake, and the food. She surrendered her small freezer to all my frozen food and bought herself another one. I wanted another snake but she said no, that is how i got into fishkeeping
 
@ Hendre: faster showers, and maybe reuse the aquarium water for the garden. That's how to deal with the bill someone else is paying.

My girlfriend actually got me into the hobby, I quickly took it to an obsessive level. As long as she has her Queen Rose and Synspilum she's happy.
