Best forum I've been on. Used to post on some others, for the past 12 years I've only been on this one. No need to go elsewhere when this is where all the cool fish are. Good stuff
Sheesh, thirteen years! Good work keeping it going all this time and building a great resource.
A little loosely-related story for y'all; I was introduced to MFK about a month after it started by a guy called Josh who I knew from the "Predatory Fish" forum and before that Oscarfish.com. He's in the NorthEast of the US, I'm in NZ, but we had a common interest in fish, music and various other things. We lost touch for a little while but reconnected thanks to Facebook, and last November when we were in the US visiting my sister we headed over to Boston and finally after almost 20 years of online friendship met up in person. And I'm sure this site has spawned many other such friendships over the years too.
So cheers to Li and everyone else who helps make this thing happen! It's easy to forget how good a discussion forum like this is, but think back to the days when our info came from [often expensive] books, the LFS and if you were lucky enough to have on a local aquarium club. Being able to communicate and share knowledge and experience with other like-minded people across the globe really is a wonderful thing.
