Btw, I just came from the camera shop. I did get the SB800. I was debating getting two SB600 for a while now. My thinking is that I may eventually need a more powerful flash setup down the road when I attempt other types of flash photography. The SB600 would work fine since I already have a SB800. But the versatility and extra power made more sense to me. For the extra hundred bucks I feel I won't be missing something. I intend to get another one later too.

Good show with the flash Bobby . Everyone here looks up to Benny and he must have 25 flashs .
Looks like I need another flash also . I am very happy with the Sigma but will probably get a 580 .
I forgot to ask - did you pick up any new creaks and groans with the birthday ?

BTW, great decision on SB800. I wouldn't get SB600 unless I already had ~10 SB800
