not picking on him, just pointing out a fact.

Happy b.day :D

Not every fish grows to the same size... just as not every fish develops spinal disorders...

Besides... That's not what your Bichir told him last ni-... Errr....

lol J/K :grinno:

yes but 7" in 5 years is very far from the average growth rate of average senegals.
Are you sure he isn't stunted?

And don't refer to that thread anymore, that was decades ago.
Trying to forget that poor guy and some joker decided to bump it...

He might be stunted... he might just be a small fish... I doubt he's been cared for poorly by any standard dice adopted from Walmart.

As for your thread I am sorry for your loss but I would hardly call the person who brought it back or those who posted after jerks. They were trying to provide helpful input and well wishes to you and any one else that may stumble upon it for help in the future.

Let's get off that topic though as it seems to pinch a nerve. Get it pinched nerve... lol

Anyways I'm sure on "average" most Senegals do not reach 12" in aquariums as you seem to imply. I believe the average is more around 8 or nine inches for a large Senegal.

I think I am the person you are talking about. And I do apologize if I have caused you untimely distress. You see, i suffered the same incident and, as what Guppy is saying, I was just trying to help by posting my own experience. It just happened that I didnt get to log in months after the incident so my posts are very late. Besides, there isn't much threads over here containing those details, thus us initiating the topic. Anyway, I do apoligize if I reminded you of him.

As far as Mr. Birthday boy/girl, I always thought that albinos grow slower than average compared to other species.. Aren't they?

And he's not albino by the way he's just short and pale lmao!

I think it means happy birth day.

I still like him even though he's short. I think he's unique! :D
