That is a beautiful fish... what are the details on keeping this fish?

It's a pretty hardy fish, and likes water from ph 7.0-7.5 usually. Other then that, treat like you would any other tropical carp. I think they might benefit from a little salt in the water too.

i think the tunas are liek 50 each. but i heard its really hard to take care of.

Hi Wes,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I have been looking for cichla monoculus for months now and can't find any. I have been ordering them at the LFS for months to no avail.

I am looking for babies and noticed you have a couple that are 6". I am very interested if you still have them. Can you send me pics or post em here? If not can I order 4 or 5 (6" or UNDER)?

I have researched the crap outta these guys and am psyced to get a few. I've seen some pics of some on this and other forums that don't look so healthy. If you have any helpful info on them, or can reccomend any site I may have over-looked hit me up!
