Hey,

Not sure if anyone has chimed in yet. I wanted to correct an ID of a fish that you brought up in your first post. Syno. Petricola is not a "Cuckoo Catfish". That name is reserved for Syno Multipunctatus. The name would not fit the Petricola because it is just an egg scatterer whereas the Multi is the invasive/interference breeder.

Also, I purchased cichlids from Atlantis Tropical Fish (online). All the fish came in great! The only problem I had was with my Paracyp's. They had some fin/tail rot which went away. My guess is that the water quality was not that pristine. Otherwise, communication and service was great.

Thank you
Chris

Thank for the correction. Learning something new every day.
Grandpa would be happy.

I have had ran my mbuna tank (3 foot 65g) for 7 years now ranging from mostly males to several breeding groups and IMO some females mean better color out of the males and more fish equals less problems (but more water changes). A filter upgrade wouldn't hurt.
