Haps and OB peacocks breeding?

I realize that every fish has its own looks but here is a example of my peacocks male and female. Hope it helps you sex them.

In general a male peacock might be slightly larger, have a pointy anal and dorsal fin, and some have eggspots on the anal fin. Other species wont have eggspots , depends of the species, some females will have whats called false eggs pots, those are found more often on mbuna females and are usually smaller, duller, and fewer in number to the males. It is important to note that peacock males are the ones with color and juvies will have female colors usually and also still have rounded fins. Here are some of the pics i have from my own fish:

Here is a male red empress just beginning to develop the color changes from female colors notice the darkening of the anal fin, this was the first signs of the color change. followed by some blue on the lower jaw:

Female OB peacock also same size and age of other peacock female notice this fish has speckles or eggspots on the anal fin, so that is best used as a general guide only:

Here is a male peacock of the same species. notice the pointed dorsal and anal fins and speckliing on the fin. Larger size also.

Female holding peacock (taken right after breeding for first time 2.5 inches, couple months old.Notice the rounded fins, lighter speckling and not as much on anal fin and smaller size compared to males of same age.

I am not sure on the intebreeding of those 2 becuase I never kept them both in a tank together but on the egg spots, Yes thos probably are eggspots if the are on the underfins (cant think of the fin name.. -_-) you shouldnt go by those to tell weather you have male or female becuase both males and females can get eggspots. Anyways good luck =] Peacocks breed extremely easy and they will interbreed with one another.

so will kimoras i think thats how u spell it can interbreed with OB peacocks??
