if i were to choose a cichlid it would either be.

Jaguar
Oscar
Green terror

the only problem is u have to find out if their compatible with ur current stock. i would like to know this too!

Wolf fish ! =D

needle nose gar. technically it isn't a gar and very easy to find, they don't get huge so you can likely get a trio. very aggresive feeders but relatively passive towards other tankmates. I keep one with my 14" fire eel in a 40 breeder atm ( he's growing out and fast!) Or TT eels are more aggresive eaters. anything "blood and guts" eater wise will likely harass your fire eel. which will potentially out-grow your 125 as it is. Personally my fire eel has more personality then most other fish i've had in the past :ROFL:Cichlids are always a hit or miss ime. So if your willing to chance loseing your current stock you might find something compatable in that department. But personally I'de never trust them with my laid back eel. Even with tons of hideing spots. Thats just me and my own tastes/love of my fire eel though. Or you could never go wrong w/ more Bichirs :naughty: Otherwise i'de say a Ray if you plan on upgradeing the tank size. So many choices..indeed.. a tough decision!

I wouldn't go with a Awo' unless you plan to upgrade in a few months time .

Cichlid - i would go with maybe with a couple or a trio of Severums , or Acara maybe a Oscar or Jag' . Posiby GT' or a Jack D' or 2 .

More Bichir is a good option or maybe if you upgarde get a Awo' and a few Ray's . :)

Hmm, now I have my mind set on more! :nilly: I want something that gets big! I want to grow something thats big, smart, friendly, and is always hungry, maybe a florida gar? Or Peacock bass? RD? ha ha, I need to see a psychiatrist. Or something.

Lots of fish out there , need to pick one... or two.

first off i havent heard u say that ur gona upgrade any time soon in this thread so p bass are out most cichlids are out cuz to mean for ur eel....... no aros get to big.............. u need something that will stay under 18 inches long..............

What happened to the silver arowana you had before? I would not recommend getting another aro unless you plan on getting a larger tank.

He Died mystically, he was perfectly fine the night before, and then I woke up and he was dead. What about a Jardini?
